Journal of Genetic Toxicology, a peer reviewed, open access journal, publishes complete papers on the testing of chemicals for genetic toxicity development, mechanism of action of genotoxic agents, preventive approach consisting in screening environmental compounds (genotoxic agents) evaluation, and validation of new methods and assessments of genetic risks resulting from induction of mutations.

   The research articles are invited on the study of genetic damage, the agents that induce such damage, the mechanisms that respond within cells and the potential consequences of the damage or the damage responses.
