J. Gene.Toxicol. (JGT) is an international journal of digital publication with free online access in which the quality works of the authors can be published at free of cost.
Manuscript in digital form can be submitted as CD by post or by email attachment. Please read the guidelines for Manuscript submission.

Guidelines for Authors and Reviewers
Manuscript Submission guidelines
» Submit manuscript (electronic version) with covering letter including full address of the authors (include the institution's address and email); identify the corresponding author.
» Send a complete manuscript in a single word file (preferably Microsoft Word, Arial size-10).
» If not available, use other standard fonts such as Times, Times New Roman or Helvetica while preparing the text and figures.
» File sizes should not exceed 2MB.
» Each figure/table must be numbered so as to identify its position in the running text; include appropriate legend.
» Use symbol font to convert Greek and other non-standard characters.
» May provide three suggested referees, together with their affiliated institution address and email address.
» If the manuscript is resubmitted after correction, please state point-by-point responses to the referees.
» Electronic submission is prone for virus infection. Hence the authors should keep the back-up copy of the manuscript.
Research articles
JGT publishes the original research work in the form of Research articles. The basic research findings and technological advancements in the field of Genetic Toxicology can find place. While no stringent regulation is laid on the length of the article, a regular paper must not exceed of 7500 words. Shorter articles are always preferable. The Research article should include Title, Authors (with affiliations), Abstract (less than 250 words), 5-8 Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgement and References, in its order.

Reviews
JGT welcomes for publication the reviews and mini-reviews of the current importance and at the same time they pave way for future. Reviews generally cover those topics of obscured or scattered information which demand logical analysis by putting the pieces together. It should generate newer outlook on socio-scientific problem. It is structured with Title, Authors (with affiliations), Abstract (less than 500 words), 5-10 Keywords, Introduction, Conclusion, Acknowledgement and References, in its order. The citation style is similar to that of Research articles. Authors are encouraged to attach their stamp size photo (in GIF or JPEG format) with self portrayal not exceeding 50 words as they could be inserted in the review.
Letters to the Editor
Letters to the Editor may report original data or may discuss published articles. Letters are not to exceed 1000 words and two figures. The Editor may solicit comments from authors if the letter refers to an article in JGT. Letters that report original data will be reviewed. All Letters to the Editor are subject to editing and possible abridgment.
Editorial policy
Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published elsewhere (except in the form of an abstract or in-house magazine of close circulation which is not recognized as publication). When accepted for publication, the manuscript shall not be published elsewhere in the same form or its content without the consent of JGT. However, there is no restriction on the recirculation of JGT-published articles by the author in any other platform for wide publicity. But the reproduction of the published articles in its full form or its part by the author(s) or by others with commercial interest needs the prior permission from the Chief Editor.
Manuscript submission is subjected to the evaluation by the referees. Chief Editor of the journal is responsible for its evaluation. Chief Editor's decision, regarding publication, will be based on the reports of referees. The reports/ comments of the referees will be transmitted to authors for any improvements of the manuscript.
